In 1996, dj ginotonico and rapper Dough Boy a.k.a. Luciano formed “la Voce Del Campione”, commonly linked by an unexpressed sense of inadequacy. The duo distinguish itself for the innermost experimental attitude exploring rap in italian language first, and getting influenced from english trip hop, later. From the lyrical side, Dough Boy researched literature and poetry tecniques in music. From The musical side, ginotonico researched lo-fi, motion-picture sampling and analogue synth sounds.
